Camp Atterbury, just south of Indianapolis, is one of eight resettlement locations chosen by the federal government for Afghan refugees fleeing the chaos of their homeland. In an effort to support those thousands of neighbors coming with nothing more than the clothes on their backs, Downey Avenue will be partnering with Trafalgar Christian Church to donate NEW items to these families to help them in their transition. A donation box will be available in the narthex hallway; all items collected will be donated to Camp Atterbury in honor of Hannah Crutchfield.
